Thermal Imaging
Medical Thermal Imaging is an FDA approved tool that can be used for the early detection of Breast
tissue changes, since 1982. The screening is up to eight times as effective in providing health
practitioners and their patient’s indications of early warning signs . There is no handling of, or
pressure on the patient’s breasts. Thermography has been shown to be effective in finding early
signs of breast cancer up to 8 years before a mammogram. Active cancer cells double in number
every 90 days, so in 90 days the patient has 2 cells, within 5 years over a million cells. At this stage
it is still undetected by mammogram. Within 8 years the cells double 32 times and are then
considered lethal. The Thermographic breast scan is performed 90 days apart, so the MD can get a
base read to compare for potential change three months later. The patient would only have to
come back once a year if there are no detected problems.
