Dr. Dory's initial intakes include a Course of Action, treatment focus, life style consultation as well as a
nutritional overview.
She treats as needed with Food Therapy, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Cupping, Medical Massage, Yoga,
Breathing techniques as well as traditional Chinese herbal medicine for optimal health.
Dr Dory strongly believes in the ability of certain Yoga styles to tremendously improve one's health and
teaches several classes with these techniques.
An Acupuncture Physician, Dr Dory is a board-certified graduate of the Florida
Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Dr Dory is also enriched by a background of Western Medicine, Psychology and
Pediatrics.
She specializes in Nutrition, Diet, Weight Loss, Exercise and Life style change therapy.
She attended the White Lotus Foundation for her Yoga training & teaches a free class for our patients
and their families and friends almost every Saturday at 11am in self help including: how to control your
body's function with breathing as well as acupressure, tapping and stretching.
Dr Dory is trained in traditional Thai Yoga Therapy and teaches a Doubles Thai Yoga class.
On A Personal Note:
My youngest child, was very sick from a young age (3 months). Doctors and Specialists could not tell
me what was wrong with him. I almost lost him several times and the Hospital runs in the middle of
the night were horrible.
I took him to see a Doctor of Chinese Medicine who did not needle him but showed me a massage
maneuver and gave me herbs. Within only 3 weeks he was almost like new, and by that I mean that
he could play, sleep and laugh! He had energy and could breath.
My son now lives a healthy happy life and Traditional Chinese Medicine gave it to him.
This was the reason I pursued my current career. It was to better care for my family members and
friends as well as in the hope of making this happen for others.
